Do tábora přivážejí velmi mnoho raněných, což působí velké problémy, protože dochází uspávací plyn pentothal, a tak musí uspávat pacienty klasicky - éterem. Otec Mulcahy se rozhodne, že pentothal získá od překupníků, a proto uspořádá sbírku. Nakonec se mu po problémech s Charlesem přesto podaří několik beden petnothalu získat.(TV Nova)
