Patológ Mallard konečne zistí, kto bol jedným z troch rozkúskovaných tiel, ktoré mal už dlhšie v pitevni. Vo všetkých troch prípadoch išlo o súdnych úradníkov z prípadu, v ktorom figuroval aj samotný Mallard. Išlo o muža, ktorý znásilnil a zavraždil príslušníčku námornej pechoty. Gibbs rýchlo pochopí, že Mallardovi hrozí nebezpečenstvo. Bohužiaľ, páchateľ poblúzni Kate Toddovú a patológa unesie. Začínajú sa preteky s časom, aby našli Mallarda ešte na žive.(TV Markíza)
