Vražda kapitána námořnictva Landise spustí další vyšetřování NCIS. Vyšetřovatelé najdou v místnosti celou řadu otisků prstů hledaného teroristy Kasima. Bishopová je však přesvědčená, že Kasim není terorista, ale že se naopak před nimi skrývá. To vzápětí potvrdí přítel kapitána Landise Wilks. Kasim během jejich mise v Afganistánu pomáhal americkým jednotkám jako tlumočník. Jeho bratr Rašíd, který se přidal k teroristům, vypsal na jeho hlavu odměnu. Ten pak napadne vojenský konvoj, unese jiného námořníka a žádá Spojené státy, aby mu bratra Kasima výměnou za uneseného muže vydaly. A tak se Gibbs a Bishopová vydávají do Afganistánu.(TV Nova)
