16 Keď sa Demir nahnevá na Öyku, kvôli tomu, že povedala Candan, že by sa mali zosobášiť, Öyku roztrhá list, ktorý mu chcela dať. Domnieva sa totiž, že keby sa Demir dozvedel o jej chorobe, opustil by ju rovnako ako jej teta. Asu prepije peniaze, ktoré zarobila spievaním. Z baru ju preto nasilu odvedie Cemal. Ugur sa stane obeťou podvodníka, ktorého najal Cemal, no pred Demirom to zatají. Keď Demir s Öyku prídu navštíviť Candan do jej veterinárnej ambulancie, Demir uvidí na ulici Asu.

When her aunt, who has been her caregiver since birth, abandons her, Öykü will have to find her father, Demir. Unfortunately Demir, an irresponsible adult and a swindler who grew up in an orphanage, gets arrested the day Öykü comes to find him.
