Seriál Tlapky je určen pro předškolní děti. V hlavní roli vystupuje šestice hrdinných štěňat - Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Zuma, Rubble a Skye - pod vedením technicky zdatného desetiletého Rydera. Tlapky ochraňují obyvatele Dobrodružné zátoky a podnikají náročné záchranné výpravy, ve kterých se snoubí jedinečná směs parádních vozidel, roztomilého psího humoru a schopnosti si poradit za všech okolností. Každé štěně, ať už je to požárník Marshall, policista Chase nebo Skye, která se prohání po nebi ve vrtulníku, přináší do týmu osobité rysy a dovednosti a ukazuje tak, jak důležitá je týmová spolupráce a občanská uvědomělost. Tlapky nosí na zádech speciální batohy, které jim pomáhají zvládnout každou situaci, ať už zachraňují koťata anebo vlak před kamennou lavinou. I při sebevětším dobrodružství mají Tlapky vždycky čas na trochu dovádění, smíchu a Ryderovo podrbání za ouškem.
