CYCLE AROUND JAPAN Highlights
This time we ride through the colorful autumn scenery of Hokkaido Prefecture. Our journey begins in Asahikawa and takes us through the Tokachi Plain, before we arrive at the Shiretoko Peninsula on the eastern coast. Along the way, we harvest soybeans, and meet the indigenous Ainu, who have long lived in harmony with nature. We encounter deer and bears, and an endangered species of owl. The trip showcases a way of life that coexists with the natural world.
