V americkom štáte Kalifornia je obrovské množstvo garáží. Ľudia v nich skladujú hocičo. Od starého nábytku, cez zbierky komiksov, baseballových kartičiek až po staré autá. Ak si však nájomca neplní povinnosti vyplývajúce mu zo zmluvy, majetok v garáži ide na dražbu. Ku garáži sa tak schádza skupina ľudí pripravených objaviť "poklad".
