Rok po vraždách výrostků, které spáchal šílený klaun zabiják, se bestseller Louise Cherryová o této události natáčí jako film a doktorka Julia Ogdenová se na place seznamuje s jeho průběhem natáčení. Režisér Claude Cordier, milenec Cherryové, začne natáčet nervy drásající scénu, v níž maskovaný klaun napadne mladou ženu. Bodnutí je tak realistické a krvavé, až se Ogdenová lekne, ale pak si všimne, že byl použit skutečný nůž a mladá herečka je mrtvá. Murdoch je tímto incidentem zdrcen, a to tím spíš, když se ukáže, že napodobitel klaunského vraha je nyní na svobodě... (Viasat)
