Nemocnica sa chystá na charitatívny ples. Ďalšou posilou rezidentského tímu je Alex Park, bývalý policajt. Claire a Morgan si za víťazstvo v súťaži môžu vybrať pacienta. Morgan spolu so Shaunom pripravujú na operáciu dievča, ktorej srdce rastie mimo hrudného koša. Claire s Jaredom a Alexom sa starajú o chlapca so zlyhávajúcou transplantovanou pečeňou.
