Sheppardův tým unikl z planety, na které byli Wraithové, ale při průletu bránou se zasekl, a proto nemůže prolétnout. Jedna polovina jumperu je v horizontu události - kdybyste tam vkročili, okamžitě zemřete. A ta druhá polovina má pouhých 38 minut na to vymyslet, jak proletět.
