When the group's favorite pie shop closes down due to the death of the head chef, they go out to find the recipe for their favorite pie. The only person believed to have the recipe is the chef's granddaughter. She agrees to give them the recipe if she can go on a date with Spencer. She takes it a bit too far, and confesses that she never owned the recipe. Carly, Sam and Freddie hatch a plan to find the recipe. Meanwhile, Mrs. Benson's cousin's baby visits for a few days, making Freddie uneasy about it because his cousin always has a blank expression when she sees Freddie.
