S01E05 - Me quiero Quedar con Spencer
El Abuelo Shay (Greg Mullavy) visita a los chicos, al ver en iCarly que uno de los martillos del ventilador de martillos que Spencer hizo, se soltó y casi decapita a Carly, eso le hizo creer que Spencer era demasiado irresponsable para cuidar a Carly, por lo que decide llevársela a Yakima. Como Spencer ni Carly quieren separarse, y Spencer intenta fingir ser responsable, y Carly quiere fingir ser ruda para que Spencer se preocupe y que así el abuelo piense que es responsable, entonces Carly se hace piercings y se pinta el pelo pero Spencer dice que son geniales porque piensa que los chicos deben expresarse libremente aunque en realidad a él no le gustan. Al final del capítulo, Spencer corre a entregarle su inhalador a Carly, entonces el abuelo se da cuenta de que Spencer es responsable porque se preocupa por un posible ataque de asma que Carly pudiera sufrir y decide que Carly se quede en Seattle.

La hermana gemela de Sam, Melanie, llega a la ciudad y Sam está algo preocupada por eso. Freddie las ve hablando y les pregunta de que hablaban. Shelby y Carly acuerdan una pelea para una caridad. En una rueda de prensa Carly accidentalmente cae sobre la abuela de Shelby y eso la enfurece, pero después Carly le explica que todo fue accidental. Nevel le muestra un video falso hecho por él en el cual Sam le dice a Carly que caiga sobre la abuela de Shelby.
